The Coach

The main Coach is an English Table Tennis Association Qualified Coach now Licenced (from November 2007) and with the new Government Qualified UKCC Level 2 (from 2008) and also CRB check via Canterbury City Council

Over many years the Coach has won a few Titles, from League to County and Representing a County, here are a few listed below :-

At 9 years of age received a Silver Spoon from Hertfordshire County Table Tennis Association (HCTTA) for being the youngest entrant.  Only 3 years later she won the HCTTA Under 13 years of age Girls Singles, just two years later won HCTTA Junior Singles, two years later went and won the Essex County Table Tennis Association (ECTTA) Junior Girls Singles and Doubles.  In the mean time the Coach had won Junior Singles in the Cheshunt & District Table Tennis League (CDTTL), and later went on to win Ladies Singles & Doubles and Mixed Doubles several times in the CDTTL.

In 1979 the Coach won the HCTTA Ladies Singles, in 1980 won both the Ladies Doubles & Mixed Doubles, and was Ladies Singles Runner Up in 1981.

1982 saw a move to Kent, where in 2000 won the Kent County Table Tennis Association (KCTTA) Ladies Singles, won the Ladies Doubles twice, 1985 & 2003, won the Ladies Veteran Singles in 1997, 1999, 2000, 2003, 2004 & 2005, and has been Ladies Grade II Singles Champion in 1984, 1998 & 1999.

The Coach has played in many Leagues such as, Cheshunt, West Essex TTL, Walthamstow / Waltham Forest, East London, North Middlesex, Woolwich, North West Kent, Maidstone, Medway Towns and Canterbury, currently playing in Canterbury and Medway Leagues, where she is currently the Ladies Singles Champion in the Canterbury league.   Except for the North Middlesex TTL, the Coach has played in all the Leagues Annual Tournaments, she has won Junior Singles, Ladies Singles, Doubles & Mixed Doubles amongst other events played and won in each League.

The Coach is currently the Ladies Veteran Singles Champion of the National East Kent Open Tournament.

The Coach has represented Hertfordshire and Essex at both Junior and Senior level, and Kent at Senior and Veteran level, in the English Table Tennis Association's County Championships, she has been winner or runner up in a Division or two, the latter being Veterans Division Two runners up in seasons 2002/2003 & 2003/2004.
